River Legacy Park is located along the Trinity River in North Arlington, Texas. It is 1,300 acres in size and is a wonderful spot for family or group outings. It is a mix of forest, wetlands and is home to a great number of plants and animals. It is open from 5 am to 10 pm and is maintained by the City of Arlington Parks and Recreation. There are many amenities including hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, pavilions for rent, river overlooks, restrooms, exercise stations, playgrounds, and a canoe launchpad.
